Where are you located? 3 mins from Dinsdale roundabout on the west side of Hamilton. 10 mins CBD. Please see Location on side bar for the Google Map.

Can I view the Barn? Yes by appointment only - we would love to show you but we need to be available for you.  The barn is not visible from the road. Our schedule is busy -  if you turn up without an appointment unfortunately we won't be available to show you.   Viewings are available week days only and not when we have paying guests here eg parties, lessons etc.  Please do not go to the house to ask for a quick look.

How long is a party?  Ultimate Pony Parties & Rhinestone Cowgirl 2 hours 

Tea Party with the Party Ponies, Round em Up Party, Mini Parties, Equitation,  1.5 hours. Require an extra half hour? We can do that for an additional $80 - party not to exceed 2 hours 

How many  children can I have at the party? Maximum at all times 20

Please find suggested numbers to get the most out of your party. Ultimate Party up to 14 children included in cost but up to 20 with 3 riding ponies (extra cost) Mini Barn and My Little Pony 8 children,  Tea Party or Round em Up Party 6.  All parties can have extra children and are charged at $35 per head.

How many adults can I invite? We want you to enjoy your child's party and to be able to invite those special people. Please bear in mind that adults take up room in the barn, especially if the weather is inclement, we do need space to entertain the children. Our priority is to give children a wonderful quality party to attend.  We open our home to provide this beautiful setting for your party, please be considerate when choosing the number of adults to invite. Please no more than 16 adults for large parties & 10 for small parties . If you are not sure please ask. Tea and coffee supplied, there will be a surcharge of $5 per head if over 10 adults attend for small parties.  We are not open as a Private Function Venue only for Children's Parties hosted by us.  Sorry but Alcohol is not permitted.

What ages do you cater for? Our ponies are suitable for children 2 years to 12 years the perfect sizes for children (no large ponies or horses for small children to be frightened of) Children need to be 45kg & under to ride.  Under two's are free providing they aren't participating as party guests - if you would like them to participate in activities the standard rate applies. Under two's are welcome to observe and play with the toys. 

Can I bring my own food? Yes most definitely - all serving plates, platters, cutlery, glassware is here for you and the Party Table is set.

We would like Character Paper Ware   You are welcome to bring your own and add it to the table setting. Frozen, Cinderella, Sophia The First all work well with our settings.  Just let us know so we can expect it on the day.

What are your Catered Options? Party Pails supplied by Pony Tales or a Caterer organised by yourself.

Can I use the Mini Milk Bottles you have in photos? We hire them out at $1.70 with a paper straw.  Replacement cost of $3 per bottle if broken or taken home.  We use the gorgeous, thicker retro bottles and the children love them!  A bottle count will need to be undertaken before you leave.  If you would like to supply your own - our supplier is the wonderful Sweet Pea Parties in Claudelands, Hamilton.

Can you organise a Cake? Sorry we do not have the time but you can order a gorgeous cake through www.cakebox.co.nz and they can deliver to us on your party date.

Parking for twelve cars

How many ponies do we require? For the ponies comfort and to allow for plenty of riding time 1 pony for up to eight children, 9 to 14 children 2 ponies, 15 to 20 children 3 ponies would be best.

Safety Each pony has an experienced handler, we recommend covered shoes, each child must wear a NZPC approved helmet (supplied) when approaching a pony. A safety talk is given prior to each party/or first visit.  Safety Information and Guest Information Sheet is sent to you on booking a party/activity.

Wet Weather We have an Inclement Weather Policy for The Ultimate Party & Rhinestone Cowgirl Party which gives you the opportunity to change the date should the weather be unpleasant.  Tea Parties, Round em Up Parties,  Mini Parties and Pony Play Group go ahead no matter the weather, we make full use of the barn and have loads of fun. 

What time can I have a party? Start times 10am and 2.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays (plus DayLight Saving 6.30 pm) Pony Experiences begin at 12.30pm or at a mutually agreed time within school hours or school holidays. 

Can I have a joint party for Two Birthday Children?  Absolutely and there is no extra charge - Birthday Children are counted within the total children numbers.

I would like to pencil in a date?   Sorry we only take Bookings.  A booking is secure when your Deposit is received, Booking Forms are returned and further scheduled payments are met.  We do our best to accommodate different situations and if you are in regular correspondence with us we will be delighted to make it work for you.  Neglect to inform us and or Booking Forms & Deposit not received within a week of the first confirming email from us, will mean the time will be available to be rebooked by someone else. 

Payment Options You can pay by Direct Credit, Cash, PayPal (major Credit Cards) or a Payment Plan.  For more information on a Payment Plan please contact us (Your plan will be worked out so your party will be paid in full two days prior to the party.  Please note there is an additional cost to a Payment Plan to cover Admin )

What is your Cancellation Policy/Refunds? Parties booked over a month prior are required to pay $50 to secure the date and time then 50% of party price is required one month prior (50% amount includes $50 deposit).

Bookings made within 4 weeks of party date are required to pay a deposit of 50% of party cost.

The balance to the full amount is required two days prior to the party.

Party Pails are to be paid in full one week prior

?Round em up , Tea, Mini Parties, Equitation & Wee Country Parties are held rain, hail or shine.

Ultimate Pony & Rhinestone Cowgirl Parties (costing $440 plus parties) have an Inclement Weather Policy that allows you to reschedule to another time and day that is mutually agreed on.

If your child is unwell, we will reschedule to another day that suits both yourself and Pony Tales Parties.

Cancellation

22 days plus cancellation before party date - monies paid will be refunded minus $50 which will be retained by Pony Tales Parties as a Booking & Office Fee.

21 days or less cancellation prior to party date the deposit 50% of the total party cost without extras becomes non refundable (All extra's will be refunded in full eg any extra children payment, party pail payments, extra ponies payments etc)

Less than 5 days Party Pail Payments won't be refunded if we have already done the weekly shop. 

The balance will be repaid into your account within one week of the cancellation date. 

If for unforeseen circumstances that Pony Tales Parties cannot hold your party due to an emergency we will either reschedule at your request or refund in full.
