Pony Express
Learn the basics to riding within 1 hour $100
Getting the foundation right leads to confidence and freedom
A class for Beginner riders ages 5yrs to 10yrs. Ideal for
children who know little or nothing about ponies or a nervous rider.
Riders are well supervised and beginning on a lead-rein with an Professional
Riding Instructor.
Laying the foundation correctly is so important to
us, in turn this empowers children to become Empathetic Balanced Riders.
The highest pony is 13.1hh we concentrate on keeping pony heights to a minimum so not to over-horse your child.
We love teaching small groups of children, so they gain the utmost knowledge and experience in the short time they are with us.
Your child will learn the importance of
- Sitting correctly to achieve a balanced position
- Important first aids to Halt, Walk, Trot
- How to ask the pony to walk on, trot on, halt and turn the pony
- Communicating to the pony through their mind
- Beginning of Rise to the Trot
Most children will be able to 'Rise to the trot' within this lesson.
Our focus is on achieving an Empathetic Balanced Rider, nurturing children while they are developing empathy, respect, gratitude and love towards ponies. We take care in encouraging but not over facing your child.
Safety and fun is our highest priority for the children and our ponies.

Pony Treat
Bring your child and their special friend to spend time with a pony/ponies for a lovely pony experience.
The children will learn to groom and have a Mini Riding Lesson each or lead rein rides. Plenty of pony contact in a caring, quiet environment. Approx 40 minutes riding. English or Western saddles available.
$100 incl 1 hour
or
2 ponies $150 incl more riding time each
Pony Rides
We are available for Pony Rides please email to arrange a time via the Contact Form at the top right of the page.
From $50 incl per half hour per pony, in paddock condition lightly brushed.
School hours & School Holidays by appointment.
Weekends Minimum 2 ponies required in the weekends, only available if we are not booked for parties.
Private Riding Lessons
Our focus is on achieving an Empathetic Balanced Rider, their time here nurtures children into developing empathy, respect, gratitude and a love towards ponies. We take care in encouraging but not over-facing your child. Developing a correct position while enjoying time with the ponies is our aim. Professional Instruction.
Bring your own pony for Field Classes, Dressage and Jump Lessons. Field Classes are great for learning to ride out of the arena and across country.
$50 per Private Lesson half hour
